After spinning with great talents such as Djebali, Greg Brockmann and Phil Weeks and his surrounding of various melodious sounds since childhood, he was able to form his own musical style, which is definitely worth hearing.

Egg London favourite and rising star Mark Reeve serves up an exclusive hour mix after his recent performance alongside the mighty Robag Wruhme. After moving to the musical hot pot that is Germany in the mid-90s, Mark's passion for house and techno quickly grew. Fast forward to 2011, Mark's first EP is released on the legendary Cocoon Recordings, with his track 'Daybreak On Mars' getting an airing from the Cocoon boss himself, Sven Vath. Mark has since gone on to forge a very successful relationship with the in-form production duo Pig & Dan whilst also releasing on the likes of Soma, Bek Audio and Bedrock. His tracks blend subtle grooves with big basslines, something that has made him a favourite of the Egg faithful With more productions in the pipeline, the future continues to look bright for the talented Mr Reeve.

Regular Egg London Radio host Lauren Lo Sung recently invited up and coming producer Pat Ondebaak down for an exclusive mix in our studio. Influenced heavily by drumming from an early age Pat's tracks are heavily percussive. His music has been picked up by the likes of tINI, Enzo Siragusa, Rossko, Chad Andrew & Ittetsu amongst others and regularly features releases on Fuse London's digital label Infuse.

The Romanian sound is very big at the moment in the underground scene and Rhadow is one of it's finest purveyors. Since he started producing in 2009, until now, he counts over 50 releases on labels like Cadenza Records, Get Physical or Sintope. His tracks are rhythmic and uplifting, with hip hop influences and embody an astonishing amount of personal style for such a young artist! Hanfry Martinez recently dropped by the Egg London studio to spin some tracks live on air. Invited into the Lola ED agency in 2014, the French crew had had their eyes on DJ/producer Hanfry Martinez for some time. Hailing from sunny Tenerife, he started off his career in the underground electronic world as a resident DJ and promoter, before catching the ears of influential clubs around Europe and being invited to take charge of the decks at the likes of fabric London, Goa Madrid and Chalet Berlin. A highly promising talent, in 2013 Hanfry was nominated ‘Best Spanish Artist’ and ‘Best Deep House DJ’ by the industry-respected Vicious Magazine. And with a string of quality EPs like ‘Distraction Way’ and ‘Hasta Luego’ on Terence:Terry:’s La Vie En Rose, or ‘Vamos Mi Niño’ with Javier Carballo on One Records, it’s not hard to understand why. A true driving force in the German club culture, Dan Drastic has become known for his impeccable mixing, high quality house sets and productions on the infamous Moon Harbour Recordings. Currently holding a residency at the world renowned Distillery in Leipzig, he also has the privilege of hosting his label's monthly radio show, perfectly showcasing what Moon Harbour is all about. Ahead of their outstanding appearances at Familia on 6th September Marc Maya and Raul Mezcolanza came and laid down exclusive sets live on Egg London Radio. For the first 60 minutes the unmistakable infectious beats of Marc Maya filled the airwaves. Marc the became a fixture at Florida 135 and soon after one of the only Residents at the International Festival of gigantic proportions- the Monegros Desert Festival. With releases on 1605, Great Stuff and Fresco. Standing out as a Spanish DJ can sometimes be an overwhelming task, however Marc is certainly achieving this and then some! Joining Marc for the second hour Raul Mezcolanza, a man who over the past few years has been conscientiously evolving, perfecting and mastering his own style and sound, with releases on Suara, Octopus, Bitten, 1605, Loose Records and Analytic among others. Both DJs are an integral part of the world renowned clubbing institution Elrow. The Familia Radio Show and their exclusive mixes is in association with Decoded Magazine.

Chilean star Francisco Allendes joined Jean Bressan a couple weeks back in the Egg London studio to lay down an exclusive mix for us. After 8 years of studying violin and performing with chamber orchestras and folkloric bands, Francisco discovered progressive rock and the sound of the synthesizers at the age of 17. That was his first contact with electronic instruments, which encouraged him to start researching for new sounds and discover electronic music. On 2001, at the age of 20, Francisco starts mixing records on little parties in Santiago and in a short time, helped in a way by the boom of electronic music in Chile, he became part of the professional circle of Chilean djs. In 2003, he released his first album, Vacas Locas, an independent CD with 9 tracks that was very well received and triggered the prize of Best National Electronic Musician. Since then he starred at Creamfields, Love Parade and Southfest, sharing the stage alongside the likes of Luciano, Dinky and Alejandro Vivanco.

Keinemusik's David Mayer joined us last week in the Egg London studio to go live on there air before his performance at Supernova on the 23rd August. Crossing borders is a familiar experience to David Mayer. Though being born in south Germany, he spent most of his youth living in Norway and (for a change) in Lanzarote, before Berlin happened to become his home in 2004. As he prefers thinking outside the box, Mayer has always been equally interested in experimenting with diverse forms of music, no matter what musical genre they derive from, although his passion for funked up and heavily pounding 4/4 beats clearly dominates his creative output. Both when spinning records and producing tracks, he is presenting his own interpretation of catchyness, mixing up Techno and House, adding a little deepness, but always keeping an eye on making his audience shake some. Romanian superstar Mihai Popoviciu popped into the Egg London studio ahead of his appearance at the first ever Egg Uncut on Saturday 12th July. Mihai is considered one of the most innovative eastern European producers of electronic music today. He started producing music in 2001 being influenced by the techno and house virus and it took many years of experiments until he came up with his first vinyl release on DJ Hell’s imprint, Gigolo Records in 2005. Since then he has steadily added chapters to his personal success story with solo projects and those with partners like Markus Homm or Jay Bliss on labels like Diynamic, All Inn, Hudd Traxx and many others.
