Welcome to our virtual Sunday service. We are so glad you are joining us to worship and study God's Word while we are separate but together during the COVID-19 pandemic. This morning four of our leaders are delivering short messages on the Psalms of Ascent, which are Psalms 120-134. First, Ndee and Nneka Odeluga are sharing a personal reflection on Psalm 121; then Minister Jane Otto is sharing a current application of the lesson from Psalm 126; and finally Pastor Calvin Guillory, Jr is sharing a word from Psalm 130. There will be worship and a number of testimonies from church members describing what this 50-day spiritual journey through the Psalms has meant to them. We are sure you will be blessed. Welcome to our first Drive-In Church service! What a wonderful morning this was as we all met separately but together in our cars for our first ever drive-in church service as our nation continues in quarantine due to COVID-19. Over 200 people gathered in 92 cars, all spaced one space apart(!), to worship together and hear Pastor Gary Barber preach on Psalm 103. There were a lot of waves and air hugs as we enjoyed being together for the first time since the pandemic struck and we had to stop public services. It was a sweet morning, and we are glad you are here today to share it with us. As Psalm 103 says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits...."

Welcome to our Good Friday 2020 service. Tonight we are engaging with the story of Jesus from Garden to Grave: A Reader's Theater. We pray that you will start off the Easter weekend with a time of reflection, and that you will leave with the hope that Resurrection Sunday is coming. Let’s all “shelter in place” in the shelter and shadow of the Most High and the Most Nigh God – our Almighty Heavenly Father. During this time when we cannot host worship services or small groups at our facility we will continue to follow the Lord’s commands in Hebrews 10:23–25: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate [sharpen] one another to love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another –and all the more as you see the Day [of Jesus‘ return] drawing near.” Therefore, in the coming days to help all of us continue in God’s Word, worship, fellowship, and witness
