2023 World Press Photo Exhibition
30/11/2023 Duração: 09minAinhoa Achutegui & Martine Chalmers spoke with Simon about the international World Press Photo exhibition currently taking place at the Neimenster Abbey. World Press Photo has been recognized since 1955 as the largest and most prestigious annual press photography competition in the world. As a retrospective of the year’s most significant events, it brings together more than 150 award-winning images in eight categories that resonate with current events: News, General Information, Contemporary Subjects, Portraits, Environment, Nature, Sports and Long-Term Projects. The winners were chosen by an independent jury that reviewed more than 60,448 photographs entered by 3,752 photographers. The exhibition is open 24-hours a day until 21st December 2023.

They don't have the right to vote, and policies that concern education and youth are usually made without involving them - although participation is one of pillars of the UN Declaration of Children's Rights.
