Chris and Jarrod are back for season 2! It's a revised format with more news, more opinions, and continued insights on SC politics, campaigns, and candidates.Episode 1 features SC Senate 6 candidate Tina Belge in her quest to win the special election to replace new US Rep. William Timmons' in his former SC Senate seat. The seat hasn't been challenged by Democrats in decades and Tina lays out her vision for the district after years of experience in community building, redevelopment, and advocacy on the local level. 

The 2018 Elections are DONE and Chris & Jarrod have their recaps, reactions, and thoughts. They took a few days to let the dust settle, final numbers come in, and for their election reactions 'bake' a bit. 

Podmetto's Co-host Chris Fedalei and Producer Jake Erwin spent the evening at the SCETV Governor's Debate in Greenville. They chatted with folks prior to, and after, the debate about their expectations, thoughts, and 'who won' -- including on-site quick-take interviews with Democratic Candidate James Smith and his Lt. Gov. running mate Mandy Powers Norrell. 

Chris and Jarrod sit down with Lucas Marchant; candidate for the 13th Circuit Solicitor. They discuss the role of Solicitors, the oversight they have in the local judicial and law enforcement processes, and how (and why) Marchant is running for the post as a 'Petition Candidate'. 

We're back! Chris and Jarrod return for season 1.5-ish and focus on the mad dash to the finish line of the 2018 midterms. They also discuss the Kavanaugh hearings and the local implications (ie: Someone run against Graham in 2020...). Buckle up!

Candidate for Greenville County Council Jevarus Howard sits down with Chris and Jarrod to discuss his campaign, what does County Council do, why he's running now as a young Millennial and how his persistence has paid off over the years.

SC State Representative from District 23 Chandra Dillard joined Chris and Jarrod to talk about her view of what it takes to be a successful State Representative, how she balances 5 million different tasks and what it took to go from a City Councilor (one who took on an incumbent in her own party) to be a leader in the SC State House. Oh, she also delayed a phone call from Gov. Henry McMaster's office to knock out this interview -- just sayin'.

Chris and Jarrod sit down with 3rd Congressional Candidate Mary Geren. Mary is an educator, a mother and a fighter for the working-class -- because she comes from the working-class. Hear her plan to flip a "solidly red" district with a do-nothing representative to a blue district that fights for everyone. Mary used education to fight her way out of poverty and isn't done fighting to make the communities around her better. Enjoy the show!

Chris (The Former Candidate) and Jarrod (The Consultant) chat with SC House 26 Candidate John Kraljevich (The Numismatist). John shares great stories about his family, career and why he's running. He'll give insights on how to ask for money and Jarrod will show you how easy/quick it is to donate money to great campaigns -- like John's.

Chris and Jarrod recap the primary elections and runoffs, and look forward to the fall, highlighting races all across the state. They also get into a discussion about the DCCC improving candidate recruitment and Millennial engagement in the political process.

Greenville City Councilwoman Amy Ryberg Doyle joined Chris and Jarrod to discuss city-wide issues like parks & rec, transportation, affordable housing and how to engage with local constituents. Oh, and Amy is a Republican (Podmetto's first GOP guest!) so we dive into whether or not partisan politics has a role in local government.

Chris and Jarrod sit down with South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Trav Robertson (and office dog Jack) to discuss the 2018 Democratic Primary Elections and how the party moves forward into November. Trav gets candid when we discuss Archie Parnell's campaign. Chris dives into the ballot initiatives around Healthcare and Marijuana. And then, Jarrod shares the story of when Donald Trump fired him. In our last Democratic Governor Candidate interview before the 2018 Primary Election Phil Nobel joins the Podmetto team.
