Los Angeles police say at least four people are connected to Wednesday’s shooting death of rapper Pop Smoke at a Hollywood Hills home, law enforcement sources told The Times. Detectives have reviewed security camera video, which the sources said also may have captured images of the getaway car. In addition to home cameras, there are nearby locations that have license plate reader technology that also could aid in the investigation, the sources added. While initial reports described the incident that led to the rapper’s shooting as a home invasion robbery, Los Angeles Police Department officials said they are still trying to sort out what happened. “I am not comfortable calling it a robbery right now,” Robbery Homicide Division Capt. They’re also suing for the false arrest of Ronen, who tried to pick up the shipment for his brother from the 75th Precinct after FedEx reported it to the police. “I have friends who are police,” Oren said at a news conference on Wednesday. “I didn’t think they were going to screw me over this way.” Sandford Rubenstein, who represents the brothers, said they are also mulling a lawsuit against FedEx. According to reports, R. Kelly was granted a bail hearing. The R&B singer could be released on bail as his motion for a new bail hearing was granted by a Judge by the name of Harry D. Leinenweber. Kelly’s lawyer Steven Greenberg filed the motion on his behalf.   "Mr. Kelly never missed a single court date, from 2002 to 2008, on his previous case. The court did not consider that Mr. Kelly appeared for each and every day of his trial and was present when the jury’s verdict was read. The court never considered that Mr. Kelly has been aware of these federal investigations and yet did not abscond," Greenberg said in court documents.   Now, if the Kelly is granted bail, it’s proposed that the judge puts him under home confinement with “an electronic monitoring device.”   His lawyer also PROMISES Kelly wont contact minors and his use of the internet and social media will be kept to a bare minimum. In a recent interview with Vegas news outlet KTNV, the Boss revealed that he is currently making a new film about Tupac, tentatively titled 2Pac: The Great Escape from UMC, which explores an alternate reality in which the rapper actually was never shot and is currently alive in New Mexico.
