I didn’t plan for this, it just happened. I started out today on something new to me. Introverted and privacy-minded, I have always guarded my personal thoughts and information, but started sharing them with the New Year - mostly in Spanish. If language can shape our perception, Spanish has molded mine. I think different thoughts, feel different feelings, and perceive other colors depending on the language ... maybe I should have kept up to date with Arabic and Hebrew? Even small phrases and sayings in a different language spark my neurons together to connect me to a memory from a different place in space.
