Why do we not speak as true representatives? 2 Corinthians 5:20 Amplified Bible 20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. To be ambassadors for Christ means that we are his diplomatic agents of the highest rank sent to represent His Kingdom and authorized to speak on his behalf. We are the voice of the Kingdom of heaven to the earth, invested with royal power through the name of Jesus and the authority of his blood.
