In this episode we introduce to you Michael Freeman Chief HR executive who has over 2 decades of experience. He is also currently part of a IHS orgainzation- Indian Health Service. This is a unique organization and we learn how they work. We of course discuss his journey but also dive into tips on interviewing and picking right candidates.

Dawne has a wonderful story; she had a rough beginning, dropping out of highschool and was in a circumstance most would give up in but not Dawne! She became a CEO and is now a Director of one of the Largest Healthcare Systems HCA! You will enjoy this story!

Dawne Buckley reminds me of a Nichol Attar (homeless to ceo) because Dawne had a rough beginning but in the end she has been able to conquer it all and is now a CORP level Director and also experienced CEO. In this episode we dive deep into Dr. Elizabeth Thomas passion for healthcare and her journey to becoming a physician. We also learn from her mistakes and her best practices. This was a fun interview. Dr. Elizabeth Thomas is someone you might have seen before post videos on LinkedIn on different ways to help kids stay healthy and prevent sickness. She is one of the few physicians I have met who is taking advantage of LinkedIn's power and reach. She shares her secrets on how she is doing so well on social media and of course we dive into her journey! 

In this episode I get to interview CEO of Texas Tech physicians and Executive Associate Dean at school of medicine Brent Magers.    We dive into the changes he is seeing in healthcare and if there are any differences in the student body. We discuss the challenges most medical students and residents will face during their journey to becoming a physician. I will be interviewing Dr. Todd Hanna; double board certified , double fellowship trained! Yes That is correct! He is based in New York New York and what I love about this interview is he is a monster when it comes to getting things done, managing work/life balance and also gives great advice for anyone pursuing to become a doctor, anyone who is currently running their own practice and also an inside look from a docs perspective for anyone running a hospital.     

Dr. Veronica Rodriguez is not a stranger to failure, she did not have the STRAIGHT LINE Path that we all want but that didn't stop her from becoming a doctor. She is a warrior when it comes to pushing through setbacks or what some would call failures. She didn't do well on her MCAT and in fact decided to retake it and on the second try did worse. If that wasn't enough she also faced not matching to a residency program twice. At one point in her journey she took a step back and went into real estate for a year before re applying herself. For a physician these can be MAJOR set backs and force you to quit. However, for Dr. Rodriguez this was an opportunity for her to grow!  She is now a Family Physician, blogger, youtuber, and Instagram queen. She helps many people all around the world through her social media presence. Match Day is a term used widely in the graduate medical education community to represent the day when the National Resident Matching Program or NRMP releases results to applicants seeking reside

Dr. Profeta is a ER Physician and also a writer for Pulse Magazine on Linkedin. He has written several articles on many topics about healthcare and in this episode  we dive into one of his most recent articles called: An ER Doctor's Simple First-step solutions to save healthcare in America. You will see his point of view on how we can improve healthcare for our nation and also the story behind the physician himself.

Debbie Chandler is an experienced CEO who has a skill for building healthcare organizations. Shes help grow clinics from 13 to 80; Helped UCHealth go from 300 to over 600 providers and much more. She shares her story and how she has been able to grow in her career. Her path is definitely different from any other healthcare giant because she initially wanted to be a veterinarian.

I'm excited to give you a sneak peak into the next episode. Debbie Chandler aka the Builder! Started as a Nuclear med tech to now building healthcare groups, hospitals, and practices. She originally wanted to be a Vet studying animals but eventually switched over to a diff role. She shares her process to growing groups, practices and other healthcare organizations. 

In this episode you will meet Tripp Lyles, young successful CSO in New Braunfels TX! He gives some great advice on how to put yourself on the fast track! We also dive into the topic of how to choose the best educational institution.

In this episode I interview Mike Yost, experienced leader in healthcare! He has a great story to tell because he initially didn't have a goal of pursuing healthcare. I feel this is an important episode because he does not take the traditional path and he is a great example on how you should be patient and as long as you work hard and listen to his words of wisdom, you will be able to achieve your own success! 

This next episode is with Mike Yost! He has a military background and initially did not pursue healthcare. I love his story because it is a clear example of how its okay to not know exactly what you want to do right out of school.     

This interview was very fun and rewarding! She inspired me so much and made me want to believe in myself more than ever! She joined the military and started the day after 9/11! Can you imagine! Listen tot his episode and learn how she was able to do it and how she started as a Nurse and now is a CEO in a big city in TX!

The next episode will be about Kristen Lowe, CEO in SA TX! She has a nursing background as well and was in the military.  

In this episode I Interview Associate Dean of Nursing Amy Kozsuch. She explains how she got into healthcare and what set her on the path to her current position of Associate Dean. Her background is in Nursing and she gives some great words of advice on how to separate yourself from the crowd of Nurses. She has a unique background in that she worked for non-for-profit to profit and now education so her perspective is different from the others I have interviewed.
