ANOTHER streaming service is announced!  Today NBC announces The Peacock with a host of new shows and remakes, Bryce and Hamby discuss this and the state of streaming services as we ramp up to HBO Max, Disney+, Amazon, Netflix, Apple and now NBC having their own streaming platforms for all the content we love to watch

Full disclosure, when we recorded this episode early this week, Bryce and I had an unexpected window to record in so we jumped at it.  Days later the computer we recorded on is still having internet issues and we finally pulled the audio off to post.  So we talk a lot about this being early and it's not.  Joker movie is out this week, are you seeing it?  Hamby talks about why he's just not interested in seeing this movie, and Bryce says why he is.  Plus Bryce reacts to the first 6 episodes of Dark Crystal new series on Netflix based on the 1980's movie.

There was A LOT of news from this last weekend's Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim.  We don't break down ALL the news, but most of the Marvel and Star Wars announcements made at the convention this last weekend, plus the usual pop culture conversation with Hamby and Bryce!

We are back from San Diego Comic Con!  Bryce and Hamby talk about EVERYTHING they did and didn't experience last week.  Hamby interviewed Jim Starlin writer of Batman's "Death in the Family", we checked out the Amazon Prime Video Experience, the Esports Arena, The Batman Experience, meeting Primus, and so much more!  Plus Marvel dominated the news cycle with there Saturday Hall H panel.  We discuss Phase 4 & 5 from Marvel and what we might hear/see at D23 in August!

Last week during San Diego Comic Con, our good friend Alyssa was able to land a great interview with actor Bill Fagerbakke aka Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants

Happy San Diego Comic Con 2019 and the 50th Anniversary of the show!  Hamby is live from Comic Con on Day One with Legendary comic book writer, Jim Starlin.  Jim is best known as the creator of Thanos, Drax the Destroyer, and Gamora with Marvel Comics.  With frequent collaborator Ron Lim he went on to write The Infinity Gauntlet mini series that would one day become Avengers: Infinity War on the big screen.  Jim is also the creator of Shang-Chi a confirmed Marvel Phase Four character starring in his own movie.  And that's not all!  Jim also wrote Batman: Death in the Family in which the second Robin, Jason Todd was killed off after the fans voted to let the Joker kill him.....!!!  We asked him about that story and he tells us one of his own about how he lobbied to let them kill Jason Todd a few years earlier.  Amazing
