The boys are recording from PJ's hotel room again and Kevin's trying to get PJ cancelled by saying he demanded an accessible room because he needed extra space for his boots and to practice his TikTok routines. PJ then has an apology to make to people who had to wait for him on a flight recently when he was getting an iced latte because mama needs her juice. The lads are recording live from a hotel in London and decide to put on dressing gowns and slippers to give the illusion of grandeur, despite Kevin saying that he thinks lads in dressing gowns are a bit of an ick. Then prompted by their book making it to number 2 in the Irish book charts, narrowly missing out on the top spot, they discuss their experiences of being second best. Kevin and PJ are still buzzing after their live podcast at the Cork Opera House but regrettably neither of them have a vocal chord left in their throats. The lads’ mams have both been away on holidays which leads to a discussion about doing a deep clean of the house before a trip abroad. They also question how much butter is in a croissant which leads Kevin on to a story of a new bakery he visited at the weekend (and did he mention it was raining at the time?). This week the boys announced that they are releasing their own book, The I'm Grand Mamual and they couldn't be more excited. They are well and truly in their author era and so it will come as no surprise to learn that they choose reading as the theme for the week. They talk about giving big main character energy when they were writing chapters of the book on their laptops in random cafés and reveal that when they came up with the iconic title for the book they put their pens down and took the rest of the day off to congratulate themselves on a job well done.
