After almost 20 years, it seemed like the disappearances of Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman would remain a mystery. On December 29, 1999, Lauria was attending a sleepover at her friend Ashley's home. Early the next morning, the house was engulfed in flames, Lauria and Ashley were missing, and Ashley's parents Danny and Kathy were found dead in the home with gunshot wounds.
