Originally from Vernon New Jersey. At the age of 18 she spent 2 ½ years solo circumnavigating the world in a 26 foot sailboat. Tania had practically no sailing or navigation experience when she started, she did not have GPS to guide her but instead had to trust the use of sextant or celestial navigation. Born in 1939 in Marsden SK Bill has been a huge part of the Lloydminster community. He has been involved in every sport imaginable most notably football where he served as the coach, manager and at one point the commisioner of the league where the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School Barons played. He also spent 15 years with the Border Kings winning a National Championship and several Western Championships. Originally Scarborough ON  He is well known for his former 1000 square foot basement, known as "The Room" looked more like the Hockey Hall of Fame than a “man cave”, hosting a lifetime’s collection of  artifacts. He used this unique collection to host fundraising events for years, raising over $2 million dollars for various charities. The collection was the backdrop for events that saw legends like Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Chris Hatfield, Brendan Shanahan,  Johnny Bower and many more. Over 80 Maple Leafs past and present toured“The Room”.
