04/12/2019 Duração: 19minProcrastination can show up in the most unexpected places. Join us for a conversation on turning your sneaky habits of procrastination into your greater purpose. Procrastination and avoidance are habits you develop to cope with things that produce anxiety or discomfort. While you can try to use sheer ‘willpower’ to muster through these habits, oftentimes you can’t just slap a band-aid on the symptoms. The underlying root issues are much deeper: fear of failure, indecisiveness, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. We must first address the issues head on. And the end result will be a more productive, efficient workflow. But most importantly, any time you are attempting something new or worthwhile, it will cause some discomfort. This is why pushing past procrastination can lead to the greatest growth and MAGIC in your life. ---- Subscribe NOW and never miss an episode! But she went forward with it anyway, and 600 nannies and happy families later, she owns and runs a highly successful nanny agency. Educated Nannies earned the Red Tricycle Award for Most Helpful Childcare Agency in Los Angeles. Ryan breaks down how to stop being a “yes” person. She was finding herself super busy but not with accomplishing anything that was moving her goals forward. So she stopped putting undue pressure on herself, creating unrealistic expectations and making up stories about what other people might think about her decisions. And everything changed for her! Tune in to find out more and learn some helpful hints on how to fail gracefully, how to embrace community to do

I’m so glad I finally posted the first few episodes and put them out into the world, even though they are definitely not perfect. And for a recovering perfectionist, that is huge for me. I’ve learned that value comes not from perfection but from putting yourself out there and meeting people where they are at, with what you’ve got. And as my podcast grows, I look forward to welcoming even more of your feedback and going even deeper into

14. Going All In Before You Feel Ready
31/07/2019 Duração: 47minFor today's podcast, I sat down with Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, Amy Kiser Schemper. I remember being SO excited for her when she was on the cover of Women's Health Magazine a few years ago, as she landed a spot in the top 5 finalists for their Next Fitness Star Contest! The surprising, behind-the-scenes story is that she almost didn't apply because she didn't feel ready. But a friend encouraged her and she submitted her application on the day of the deadline. (Side note: sometimes we need a little encouraging kick in the pants from our friends!) She decided to go all in, despite not feeling ready ... and her efforts paid off. Amy has since built a massive following (nearly half a million subscribers!) through BodyFit by Amy, an online fitness community and YouTube channel. In addition to Women's Health Magazine, she has been featured on Good Morning America, Extra, and The Doctors. 12. Mastering the Art of an Impactful First Impression
16/07/2019 Duração: 20minHave you ever made a sucky first impression? We’ve all been there. There is an art and skill to putting your best foot forward and making a lasting connection in that first greeting! Today on the podcast, I am sharing my top tips that I have used time and time again to move from instantly meeting someone to getting a coffee date on the calendar. Your relationships are everything. The strength of those relationships is oftentimes the biggest indicator of your success. And the foundation to having great relationships starts with that first connection. In this day and age of social media, it is becoming harder and harder to make actual, fulfilling connections. We don’t know how to do this well. And as a result our relationships are being fractured and short-changed. We go to networking events but don’t know how to introduce ourselves without feeling disingenuous or sleazy. Many of us are a little paranoid about other people wanting something from us. A lot of times we have 30 seconds to meet someone and take it
