Finally the most exhausting League season in football history is over and Benfica close it out with 3 points in the birthplace of Portugal. Seferovic comes up short in his quest for the Golden Boot thanks to nice assist from the Liga Portugal to Pote in the way the matches were scheduled. In addition to reviewing the match , I'll go over how this round 34 is the prime example of all the incompetence within Liga Portugal, now formerly known as #LigaNOS. I'll talk about round 34 being blacked out(atleast legally speaking) in North American with the exception of Benfica's match that aired on RTPi, and how we were all deprived of a thrilling race to avoid relegation, all the emotions that come with that and no live footage of Santa Clara's historic qualification to Europe. First a look back at the "Jogo Louco" of the season and Benfica ending Sporting's hopes of an undefeated with a 4-3 win at the Luz, then I'll go over the Women's teams 7-0 thrashing of Condeixa in the Liga BPI that couple with Sporting's loss to Braga put the Lady Aguias in 1st place heading into the final match of the Championship this coming Saturday against the Green and White Prison Stripes at Alcochete. The title is literally 1 point away!
