We also hear from City Engineer Kelly Henshaw, who puts it quite plainly: PICK UP YOUR DOG'S POO, BRO! Fecal matter left in yards and along city streets does not break down and fertilize soil, but it DOES wash into storm drains and deposit untreated into our local streams and regional watersheds. This can cause major problems for those ecosystems.
