We close with our series in 2 Peter by examining what Peters final words meant to his audience and what we can learn from it.

We continue with our series in 2 Peter.

We are into our second week of 2 Peter. Looking at 1.:12-21. In this passage Peter points us to the facts that we can stand firmly in God's truth because of Peter's eyewitness accounts and because of the reliability of the Scripture. It encourages us to look back at ways we've noticed God speaking and acting to encourage ourselves in the now. 

This Sunday we will begin a new sermon series till Easter Sunday. It is called Elbow Grease: a study in 2 Peter. Pastor Colin created us a great image below. In this short letter from Peter we read encouragement for growth and warnings of problems. This Sunday we will be looking 1.1-11. Noting how in order to grow in His grace, it requires His grace. 

Today Pastor Colin brings us to the end of our Divine Appointments sermon series. He looks out how life ought to be when understanding who Jesus is and His love for us. We are in Mark 9 at the moment called the transfiguration. 

This Sunday we dive back into our series called Divine Appointments. We will be looking at the hopelessness that Elijah experienced and what helped to bring him out of it. There were two key things: time, and God's voice.

This Sunday we focus in on the advent theme of love! May you be re-inspired this Christmas by the birth of our Saviour.

This Sunday is the Advent theme of peace. We will be diving into Acts 10 where there is a massive change with the Holy Spirit filling the Gentiles. This is a watershed moment in the history of the Church. When Peter is preaching to the Gentiles he starts with peace being found with God through Jesus.

How do you cope with suffering? Pain is inevitable in this life, and modern society doesn't give strong enough answers to cope with anguish. We look at the life of Stephen to see a better way.

Language matters. The arrival of God's presence shows us that God is not for just one culture or one language. God's message of truth and love found in Jesus is to be shared with all. And His presence reminds us who we are: His children.
