#16 | Nico Izzi Check In From Prison Part 2
27/03/2019 Duração: 30minI interviewed former supercross\motocross star Nico Izzi a few months back when he just got into prison from getting into some serous trouble with the law from his drug\alcohol addiction (episode #7). It was very rough for him facing the music from what his addiction led him too. He has a clearer mindset on what he did and what his life has become all from his addictions. This interview went a lot better and you can really tell that he wants to give sobriety a fighting chance to get his life back. I really wanted to do this to show that you can have it all and in almost every case drugs and alcohol will rob you from it. I pray that Nico will come out a new man and rise up from this even stronger.

Really proud of him for putting the work in and pulling it getting his life back and feeling better then ever without any medications. We also check in with our almost weekly guest Caleb Wyatt and how he just hit 90 days clean and sober, sounding better every time we talk to him. Cant believe how we talked to him a little over three months back when he was literally at rock bottom. To see the transformation on him getting his life back with sobriety makes this all worth it.

14/01/2019 Duração: 26minhttps://talkingsobriety.wpcomstaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/richard-cabral-final.mp3 I get the chance to have a good chat with Movie star Richard Cabral. He is best known for his roles on the ABC television series “American Crime”, which has earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2015, and the television series “Lethal Weapon”. He has been in a hand full of other huge movies and TV series but this didn’t come easy. He grew up in the gang life at a very early age and even developed an addiction to crack cocaine by the age of 15. He was looking at a life term in prison for a violent assault with a deadly weapon and got released early which we talk about. He changed his life after this with sobriety and getting out of thegang life. Good things starting falling in his lap after this which has then led him to where he is now. He is living proof that you can change your life around for the best nomatter how bad you think the cards are against you.

#7 | Nico Izzi’s Interview From Prison
05/12/2018 Duração: 51minhttps://talkingsobriety.wpcomstaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/nico-izzi-final.mp3 Every episode isn’t just about success stories and how great sobriety is. For me and many others, we had to go through some crazy things to even become lucky enough to get and stay sober. This is a story of a top professional supercross and motocross rider Nico Izz, who had it all and was making his way to become the next champion of his sport. Through many injuries and then getting addicted to painkillers which lead to addiction like how it happens to 95% of other professional athletes. Nico then got sober foe a small period of time and one day thought he could handle a beer like most addicts think. The thing is, is that never works and lead him into a darker path of becoming an alcoholic and getting himself into some serious trouble with the law landing him in prison which could end up being 10 years. Nico had it all like I once did and I should be where he is. I want you to learn from his story if anyone is dealing wit

18/11/2018 Duração: 01h17minhttps://talkingsobriety.wpcomstaging.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/ron-rehab.mp3 Its been a rough week in my area where I live with a mass shooting at Boarder Line, a place we grew up going there for good times followed by some of the worst fires in Californias history. My heart and prayers go out to all those who were affected and to those we lost. We talk with Ron Honn about his rehab he started after getting sober and hear his story on how he did it. He got Calab Wyatt, our past guest into his rehab as I type this and will be checking in with him weekly to see the transformation of getting sober if he stays with it. We also talk with former FMXer Andy Morgan and his unique story on how he got sober and is now living a good life.
