Shelley Twinn is a Londoner, born of a Caribbean father and an English mother in the 1960's. She grew up amidst a period of immense social and moral change in the UK. The impact of how society and immediate friends and family viewed her mixed heritage family and her parents' relationship, gave Shelley a positive view on how 'love can indeed conquer all'. Shelley is also an actor, singer and songwriter who has written several songs about love and romance. Some of the songs are included on the album 'Late Life Love' which is available on iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. Shelley is also a session singer and performs regularly with her H&S band.

Naz Meknat is a Los Angeles based celebrity stylist. Her life and career could not be further removed from her perilous past in Iran. She's been operating in the fashion industry for over 15 years. It is a career of glamour Naz never dared to dream about when she was growing up in post-Revolutionary Tehran. Naz actively volunteers in her community serving as a member of many nonprofit organizations.

Dr Marcia Morgan is a British Caribbean woman. She is married with children and works for Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service and is a senior lecturer at the University of East London. Marcia volunteers as a Race Ambassador and Social Mobility Ambassador for the Ministry of Justice, advocating for the application of an intersectional approach to staff data analysis. She is also a level 7 qualified Executive Coach and Mentor. In her spare time, she enjoys cross country running and reading contemporary multicultural romance novels.

Born in Lewisham, London, of Jamaican parentage, she grew up with four older brothers. She attended Lewisham Bridge School, Lewisham Girls School, Blackheath Bluecoat School and Vauxhall College. Her experience at school was difficult, and it was not until she completed her education that she was diagnosed as dyslexic. At the age of ten, Le Mar appeared in a school play called In on the Island at the Albany Empire and then attended the Lewisham Drama Club, inspired by her primary school teacher Mr Woodgate. She then Joined Second Wave Women's Drama group, where she performed Net Full of Holes, also at the Albany Empire.Le Mar attended the Barbara Speake Stage School, and Afro Sax drama club run by Larrington Walker, Ellen Thomas and Treva Etienne. With two fellow actresses Le Mar set up her own theatre company, called the Bemarrow Sisters, which ran for seven years. Productions included A Slice of Life directed by Decima Francis, Gloria directed by Trevor Laird and This Way Up written by Peggy Bennette-Hume.

Pam is a Senior Probation Officer managing a team of women who support female service users to make changes in their lives for the better.
