I've learned a lot about how quick bursts of courage can REALLY transform how the rest of our day looks and feels. Sometimes courage is falling to your knees in prayer, going outside, or talking to someone. Well, things have REALLY come together and I'm moving to Provo in a few hours! In just the month since being in Utah the Lord has helped me to find a job AND a place to live! It's amazing! I've been in Utah for nearly a month now. I've felt VERY hard-pressed for time, and I am experiencing and seeing more of my limited beliefs alive and in full color. I certainly felt that things would be MUCH easier for me here, and that's hasn't been the case. At the end of the day I just need to keep moving forward and trust that the best is ahead. There are many good things that have happened, and I need to focus PLENTY of time for remembering those things in this very humbling times. I did successfully get out my second book, "Patience in These Pages" so that's cool.I'm trying not to be so judgmental of myself even though things feel so final and threatening. Perhaps things will come together for me in a mighty way. God's plan is definitely coming together in my life! I am SUPER thankful and mindblown at His goodness and the ways He's been showing up for me. My plans have changed multiple times but now I am confident that I will be flying to Utah to be there for General Conference this weekend! I'll also be taking a 1-month break from podcasting to give me some time to get situated and stuff. This is a great time to go back and listen to any previous episodes you may have missed! God is able to make EVERYTHING work out. When we surrender and let go that makes it so things are able to truly flow. I have only a few days left at home and I have accepted that God has this all taken care of, no matter how stressed out or worried I may feel about things.When I try to deny the truth or force things then that leads to stress and worry. I am in a place where I am asking God for help constantly. I cannot do this on my own. This is probably the simplest but most practical advice I could give people who feel they are waiting for something to happen. Yes, it may feel forever, but trust me, it will eventually end - so cherish the time you have! As I am moving from one season of my life to another I have a lot of thoughts on this topic.
