Officials remind the public that even though a vaccine is on the horizon, now more than ever its important to wear a mask and properly socially distance yourself and your loved ones. Not to repeat ourselves, but more crazy happenings in DC yesterday as the Attorney General surprised us all by announcing that the Justice Department found no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election. To be clear the surprise is not the lack of fraud, but rather Bill Barr’s willingness to confirm that and contradict President Trump’s narrative. The cold weather is definitely here and that’s going to make things more difficult as people stay indoors amidst a spike in covid-19 cases. In that spirit Zoom is temporarily expanding their 40 minute limit for free users of its conference service in hopes that people will stay safe and stay home on Thanksgiving. The SpaceX capsule successfully docked with the International Space Station late last night, and we’re just excited that you can follow all of it through streaming video and live feeds. Covid-19 is close to being out of control in many locations and that has some people’s holiday plans up in the air… and it makes us wonder what happens to Mall Santas in the coming weeks? Some extreme weather overnight, but the pandemic news this morning continues to be troubling as cases and hospitalizations approach record highs. Meanwhile the President still hasn’t come to terms with his election loss, and his most extreme supporters took to the streets in DC over the weekend to back him up… although the number was a lot closer to ten thousand than a million. But the good news is the Christmas tree for the city of Boston is making its way down the road from Nova Scotia, something for us to look forward to.
