Road tripping through the North Island of New Zealand was more fun than we could have imagined. Taking in all of the beauty with the endless hills, wildlife on the farms, and scenic landscapes was a treat as we stopped for photos several times. Auckland offers a ton of great restaurants and nightlife for the city lovers while the rest of the trip was mostly town-sized communities surrounded by nature with jaw-dropping beauty. We visited Rotorua, Lake Taupo, and Wellington as we headed south with a few stops along the way. No matter how you decide to discover the North Island, you will have a blast driving in the gorgeous landscapes of New Zealand where every angle is a screen saver.
