Did you ever work so hard and then have nothing to show for it? In John 21 Peter and the apostles fished all night but did not catch any fish. In the morning, Jesus showed up and told them to let down their nets on the right side of the boat. When they obeyed Jesus they pulled in a miraculous catch of fish.  In the same way we can be so busy chasing more money,  success, degrees, the best house or vacation and, ultimately, have nothing to show for it.
