Willem Hooft is a para-kiter and team rider for Harlem kitesurfing. After a motorbike accident in 2017, he defied the odds and decided to get back on the water. He and Thierry Schmitter (another para-kiter from Holland ) designed and build a custom board and they are now talking about adding a foil, for a next step in progression.
