The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 15 of the 20 fastest growing occupations will require significant science and math preparation. Mathematics is a critical survival skill in today's non-tech workforce as well, with many jobs requiring proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and estimation.
