Hello Everyone! After a much needed sabbatical, the crew is back to dish out Lookout Landies, our much anticipated, highly acclaimed Seattle Mariners season awards. A little time off has given us all time to decompress and process what was an utterly incredible season on almost every front. There are overachievers to praise, underachievers to chastise, surprises both good and bad, and most of all, the thing the Mariners need the most: development and experience for young players. Despite no playoffs, there are still abundant reasons for optimism about the performance of the young team on both sides of the ball. The bullpen is mostly intact moving forward. The rotation has a cadre of elite arms lurking just below the surface. Jarred is here and Julio might be by the time the team next plays a real game. Progress can be hard to measure but we attempt to do so and give out flowers where appropriate.
