We analyze positional understanding for each piece in Part 9 of my Complete Chess Strategy course for beginners all the way till expert (2000+). This course is great for beginning and intermediate players who want to clarify their understanding. Part 9 covers a deep overall understanding of the role each piece plays during the game. In order to get a great positional understanding you need to start with all the elements: the strategic elements, as well as the overall properties of each piece. My complete strategy course has covered everything about basic chess strategy and with the thought process, how to apply it. My understanding is simple and comprehensive as well as very simple, which allows me to apply it and play at a high level without spending hours studying chess information. Chess rules are good to know, but ONLY if you have an overall framework of understanding and they have to be the RIGHT chess rules. Not all chess information is created equal.
