Dr. Sahar Khamis and her guest Dr. Maha Hilal discussed important topics about the current human rights and social justice issues impacting Muslims, in general, and American Muslims, in particular. Dr. Hilal is the founding Executive Director of Muslim Counterpublics Lab, an organization that works to disrupt and subvert dehumanizing narratives that are designed and deployed to justify state violence against Muslims.
