The Neighbour Day concept was originally developed and delivered by one man (Andrew Heslop) and his laptop. Andrew started Neighbour Day after a woman in a suburb of Melbourne had died in her home and wasn't found for two years. Neighbour Day encourages everyone to connect with the people next door, over the fence, or down the road. It is the perfect opportunity to say thanks for being a great neighbour and for being there when I needed you most!
