Red Door Church

Preacher: Jonathan Smith Pastor Jonathan is teaching through Paul's first letter to the church in Thessalonica. This message comes from the 1 Thes 5:1 to 5:11. Paul teaches that the Day Of The Lord is coming. Both from writings in the Old Testament and Jesus's words, we see that the Day Of The Lord is destructive, but for those who are in The Lord, they will be saved from this destruction. Pastor Jonathan says that we who are in Christ are saved from this destruction but we are not to be complacent. Giving your life to Jesus is not "tick, I've got my life insurance sorted out", and now let's get on with living. We are warned not be be asleep - not to be unaware - of what is happening around us.
