Amy is a practising dietitian and a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Amy’s passion for supporting people with type 1 diabetes began when her brother was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of seven. She wanted him to live the richest life possible. Amy continues to wish this for all her patients. In this episode we talk about her work with people and programs around type 1 diabetes, her motivation and overcoming obstacles. Amy received the prestigious ‘Jan Baldwin National CDE of the Year 2018’. The CDE of the Year award was facilitated by ADEA and supported by Eli Lily Australia.
