In this episode, Jan Alford will discuss with Amanda Bartlett on gestational diabetes. Amanda Bartlett is a credentialled diabetes educator and a certified midwife. Amanda has worked in the field of women’s health for over 30 years and in the specialised field of diabetes in pregnancy for the last 15 years. She is currently the chair of the Special Interest Group Diabetes in Pregnancy of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association. Amanda managed the diabetes service at a major obstetric hospital in Sydney for 7 years and is currently working as a midwife and credentialled diabetes educator in private practice.
