Abu Hurayrah (ra) himself stated, 'There is no one, be he a Jew or Christian who would not love me upon hearing of me.' Abu Hurayrah (ra) peformed one Hajj with The Messenger ﷺ but did not perform optional Hajj until his mother's passing as he preferred to stay/serve her (Sharh Saheeh Muslim).
