Most of the dialogue about type 1 diabetes is between people who have it, but what about those close to us who are affected by T1D too, the endearingly nicknamed “Type 3s?” The 3s offers them the opportunity to join the conversation too through one-on-one interviews with the T1D in their life. Dav met Rachell after she was diagnosed with type 1, so he’s had to play catchup with both learning about what the disease is and how he fits into her life with it.
