After The Blessed Hijra Amr & Khalid (raa) fathers depart the world in a state of unbelief, (Ibn Kathir). The first main encounter was at Badr where the polytheists lost. A year later the fateful Battle of Uhud took place, the belivers took safety on Mt Uhud.
