This is the holiday season, usually a time when most people celebrate and find joy but for some of us who are bereaved, it’s difficult for us to experience joy especially when we see everyone around us in such a joyful mood. At the time, Lizy was just two weeks shy of her 13th birthday, which added an extra layer of poignancy to her loss.
