I had my talk story with Scott Head, VP Waikoloa Beach Resort at the 2019 HHSAA (Hawaii High School Athletic Association) Boys Golf Championship. Waikoloa Beach Resort was host to the 36 hole championship played at Waikoloa Beach Resort Kings' Course on the Big Island of Hawaii. The HHSAA is sponsored by David S. Ishii Foundation. Scott talks about the impact David, who Scott calls the best player to ever come out of Hawaii has made for high school players with his support. Scott also shares the commitment by Waikoloa Beach Resort to host junior, high school, college and professional tournaments.Waikoloa Beach Resort is a planned community and I have worked with them for a long time. I have admired how they have evolved gracefully during the ever present development on the Big Island.
