Emily T Gail Talk Story

Winona Chen, was not an athlete in high school. She got into swimming, biking and running a few years ago and got involved working with Bikeworks. Been a win win for everyone as Bikeworks and Winona give back to the community. Her first triathlon was the Lavaman Waikoloa (1500 meter or .9 mile swim, 40k bike and 10k ru, here on the Big Island of Hawaii. Fast forward she completed her first Ironman this past year. Winona talks story about how and why she has grown to love participating and encouraging others to be active. She suggests joining the upcoming Run For Hops presented by Bikeworks, PATH and others on Saturday March 12 at BMW. Lavaman Waikoloa weekend March 27-29 is great example of what a great family activity triathlons can be with the Friday March 27 Sunset Run around Waikoloa Beach Resort, Lavakids at Anaeho'omalu Bay on Saturday March 28 and Sunday March 29 Lavaman.
