Kathleen Johnson, Kona Hiking Club has info on the New Years Day Potluck at 10am open to everyone at Old Kona Airport Park, Pavilion #1. if you just want to know more about the hikes that usually are the third Saturday of each month or find out who goes on the hikes. I do. I like that the pace suits all levels of walkers and hikers. On New Years day there will be a optional beach wander at 9am before the potluck to Pawai Bay or Kailua Bay.
