Know what you call a group of Panthers? A claw. Know what we call our group of calls of the game for Panther Basketball? Claw Calls of course. The Panthers began their 2024 MVC Tournament run with a 67-62 victory over the #5 seeded Belmont Bruins Friday afternoon. Tytan Anderson set a career and Panther post-season high with 19 rebounds, while notching a double-double with 19 points. Panthers also got 14 points from Jacob Hutson, 13 from Nate Heise and 11 from Trey Campbell. UNI's defense held Belmont to a season low in points and under 65 for just the third time this season.
