Locked On Panthers

The Carolina Panthers have been in the market for a veteran wide receiver as the team met with Michael Gallup last week and was scheduled to meet with Mike Williams before he agreed to terms with the New York Jets. There remains another option for the Panthers: Tee Higgins. So far, two players have received the franchise tag and then been trade by their former teams, Brian Burns and L'Jarius Snead. Neither players was traded for a first round pick. Overall, a second, fifth, and seventh round pick is all the New York Giants and Tennessee Titans had to part ways with in order to secure Burns and Snead, respectively.
