On Thursday afternoon, the Carolina Panthers announced the coordinator hires for Dave Canales. The biggest news to come out of the release is that defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero had been successfully retained by Canales. At his introductory press conference the week prior, Canales raved by Ejiro and stated that he was "a huge piece" of what he wanted to do moving forward.
