According to multiple reports on Monday, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is interested in a return to the NFL. That interest includes the Panthers, who are looking to fulfill their vacancy after firing Matt Rhule earlier this season. That interest was confirmed on Tuesday when multiple reports revealed that Panthers owners David Tepper had a conversation with Harbaugh about the opening. Harbaugh spent four previous seasons as the San Francisco 49ers head coach prior to coaching his alma mater. Would Jim Harbaugh be a good fit in Carolina?While Harbaugh is potentially a candidate for the job Panthers interim head coach Steve Wilks is also expected to receive consideration for the full-time post.
