The Carolina Panthers have spent the majority of the 2022 offseason trying to upgrade the quarterback position. The Panthers struck out on procuring the services of Deshaun Watson and Russell Wilson before landing on Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral in the third round of the NFL Draft. Despite drafting Corral, the Panthers have maintained that they view Corral as a developmental player, signaling that he's unlikely, at this point, to be a major factor in 2022.
