Umar (ra) dismounts and wades through a body of water leaving his clothes wet. Whilst Umar was riding a camel, people started talking amongst themselves about the mode of transport, Umar (ra) remarks...'Their gazes are on the conveyances of the people (unbelievers) who have no portion in the hereafter (Ibn Assakir). Upon entry into the Holy City, the amazed residents looked upon Umar (ra) in amazement as if they were observing a very Prophet (as) entering once again.
