On Friday, my wife Beth was driving down Giles after going to grab lunch on her day off. She started choking on a french fry. After trying to take a couple drinks and pounding on her chest, she realized she was in trouble. The light in front of her turned red so she stopped. Thank GOD a man in a work van pulled up next to her. As she was getting ready to dial 911, she decided to roll down her passenger window to get his attention. After motioning that she was choking, they both jumped out of their vehicles, met at the back of her Jeep where he performed the Heimlich maneuver. After a few tries, it worked. He asked her several times if she was ok. She said yes and thanked him 1,000 times. She left without getting his name. She was obviously shook. I'm sure he was too. I need to find him.
