MAID. Medical Assistance in Dying. Canadian federal law Bill C-7 allows a person in Canada who meets specific medical/health criteria to be granted MAID. Still contested by various individuals and groups, increasingly Canadians are dying with a physician's or nurse practitioner's direct assistance.
