Ali Davari is 84-years-old and in a medically induced coma in Germany. He cannot be brought home on a commercial flight, but RBC Insurance – who sold Mr. Davari a travel policy – is refusing to pay for him to be flown back to Canada. They also won’t pay for any of the medical costs, including hospital charges.
