In this episode Baxie talk to former Happy Monday's guitarist Kav Sandhu. Next month Kav is releasing the album "Northern Gentleman" as Blitz Vega. This was a collaboration between himself and the late Andy Rourke--former bass player for the Smiths. Although the record was scheduled to be released in 2022, those plans were cut short due to Andy's declining health. Last year, following his death of pancreatic cancer at the age of 59, Andy urged Kav to go ahead and release the album. It's a powerful and poignant story. The record is not only amazing, it also includes guitar performances from Johnny Marr. This is the first time that Andy and Johnny had played together since The Smiths broke up 37 years ago!
