This week’s destination on the Travel Show is both world class and on our doorstep - because we are off to Ottawa. You just can’t beat Ottawa for a pampering getaway, a weekend fling… or a much needed break. In summer Ottawa is alive with outdoor festivals, it is patio season, and you can get outdoors right in the heart of the city. There’s kayaking on the Ottawa River, cycling along the Rideau Canal and much more. One of Ottawa’s iconic summer events is, of course, the Canada Day festivities when we celebrate living in this wonderful country of ours…and there are music festivals all summer long bringing the best talents from Jazz to Blues to Chamber Music.
