I don't understand how liberal feminists, who lecture Americans about women's rights and empowering women, go to misogynist Iran and voluntarily wear a headscarf when the women of Iran are trying to take their headscarves off to defend their rights. Western feminists and groups like the National Organization of Women are AWOL when it comes to showing support and defending the rights of women in countries like Iran. Especially if these western feminists are diplomats who are supposed to represent their own country or leading women like journalists.
